PARA Weekly Net
Saturdays 9 PM on the 146.430 Repeater
Starting on Saturday August 23rd PARA will begin a weekly net on the 146.43
repeater. The net will start at 9 PM and Mark K3ITG will be net control.
The purpose of this net is to provide PARA members, and any other
interested amateur radio operators, an opportunity for fellowship and to provide
PARA a venue for club announcements.
This net will have a slightly different format than you may be accustomed to.
First there will be a standard roll call followed by a round of general comments
from all stations checking in.
As a contingency plan, we are seeking amateur radio operators who would be
interested in acting as a back-up net control station. Mark K3ITG will be
the normal Net Control Station, but in the event he is unavailable on a given
Saturday evening, the back-up Net Control Station would run the net. Interested
parties are asked to contact Mark K3ITG.
