October PARA Meeting 
to be held at
Clearfield County 911 Center
The October PARA meeting will be held at the Clearfield County 911 Center in
Clearfield PA. This will be an excellent opportunity for PARA members to see
first hand the fully equipped amateur radio room which the county maintains
within the 911 center. While the purpose of the radio room is for emergency
communications, the county actually encourages amateur radio operators to stop
by and use the equipment whenever you have time. In addition, there may be some
discussions about amateur radio's historical and current supportive role in
emergency communications. A special thank you to Paul W3PRL for suggesting this
meeting location.
