PARA recently jumped into the on-line world of social media by launching a Facebook page. The page is a means for PARA members, who use Facebook, to share PARA
announcements with their friends and make posts to the PARA Facebook page with their input on current PARA events.
PARA will continue to use snail-mail, e-mail and publish the quarterly “PARA Connections” newsletter. The Facebook page is complementary to those efforts and
will help us promote our organization, as well as amateur radio.
To access the PARA Facebook page you will need to set up a user account with Facebook. You can then either search for Philipsburg Amateur Radio Association,
or follow this link: http://www.facebook.com/philipsburgamateurradioassociation
Be sure to “Like” the page and you will start to see PARA posts show up in your Facebook news-feed.
