As you can see I am an over the road truck driver!!! I run from New Jersey to Wisconsin, from Wisconsin to Chicago, IL then back to the Northeast most of the time to Boston, MA and New England, then back to New Jersey and start all over again. To see where I am just click the link above.
The radio equipment is as follows: HF-Kenwood TS-480SAT, VHF/UHF Mobile-Kenwood TM-D700A 2m/70cm APRS, VHF/UHF Portable-Kenwood TH-F6A Tri-Band 2m/1.25m/70cm.
The antennas are as follows: HF-#480 Texas Bug Catcher excellent HI-Q antenna mainly for 75, 60, and 40m, VHF/UHF Mobile-Diamond SG-7900, VHF/UHF Portable-Diamond SRH-230A, SRH-77CA, or SRH-805 stubby duck. Diamond is the only way to go for VHF/UHF as far as I am concerned.
