Philipsburg Amateur Radio Association
Mission Statement

PARA is a non-profit association organized to provide technicial expertize to the local community through public awareness for the Amateur Radio hobby. Additionally, PARA will help provide a background of information for the non-technicial person who is interested in becoming an amateur radio operator, and providing a reservoir of knowledge and experience represented within the membership of PARA. This extends to help all intereseted people, especially non-licensed amateurs who show interest in starting out this in this life-long hobby for self-enjoyement and personal advancement.

PARA will help provide any additional communication for the Philipsburg area through contact with any of its' officers, when asked by any official community agency (fire, police, etc.) for the protection of life and property.
