At the May PARA meeting the matter of partnering with the Parasitic Emission amateur radio newsletter was put to a vote. Without objection it was decided that we would stop publishing the PARA Newsletter and partner with the The Parasitic Emission Newsletter. The Parasitic Emission is now the official newsletter of PARA. As a result, the next issue of the Parasitic Emission will be released soon and will be e-mailed to all PARA members.
The Parasitic Emission is designed as a multi-club regional newsletter and currently is covering the Headwaters Amateur Radio Club (Potter County), Indiana County Amateur Radio Club (Indiana County), Quad County Amateur Radio Club (Clearfield County), Punxsutawney Amateur Radio Club (Jefferson County), Elk County Amateur Radio Association (Elk and Cameron Counties), and now our own PARA club as well. This is a growing list which one day may include most, if not all, amateur radio clubs in the Central Pennsylvania region.
