The 2nd Annual Philipsburg Area Amateur Radio Picnic

The 2nd Annual Philipsburg Area Amateur Radio Picnic has been scheduled for
Saturday July 26, 2008 at 11 AM.
Talk-in on the 146.430 repeater.
The location will once again be the Cold Stream Dam Park in Philipsburg. Our
pavilion is on the far side of the lake near the amphitheater. We could not get
the pavilion on the highway side of the park as we had last year due to a
construction project which will last all summer. The bathhouse restrooms have
been renovated and will be open for our use.
Lunch will be served at noon. Everyone is asked to bring a covered dish and a
table setting. Hot dogs, hamburgers and rolls will be provided by the
Philipsburg Amateur Radio Association. This event is open to all amateur radio
operators in Clearfield and Center Counties. Bring the family – everyone is
welcome.
RSPV's would be appreciated so we can be sure to bring enough hotdogs and
