The Philipsburg Amateur Radio Association has announced that David Posmoga, K3MGC, is the recipient of the 2007 Ham of the Year award. Dave has been an amateur radio fixture in the Philipsburg area for years and was a founding member of PARA in November 1992.
One of the nominations received described Dave as "always helpful, supportive of all activities, and friendly". Most hams living in the Philipsburg area have, at one time or another, called upon Dave for advice or help at least once for a variety of projects. Dave always made time to help fellow hams out and is very deserving of this award.
